When you select your Wedding Gown, how you look in your dress is important. What is more important is how comfortable you are. During your fitting, walk around, raise your arms, hug someone, and try to do a little dance. If something feels uncomfortable, ask your alterations professional to make an adjustment.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kathy Byrum on many of her spectacular bridal events. She possesses a talent for taking on the challenge of planning a bridal event and making it look effortless. The level of detail, professionalism, and guidance she gives to her client makes her an amazing planner. She always brings fresh ideas to the table. I should know, as a makeup artist for her clients, I get a firsthand review of how much they appreciate Kathy’s willingness to do whatever it takes to execute fully their vision of that special day!

Adorable Flower Girls in Fall Colors
Now that fall is upon us, pastel and bright summer colors for your Flower Girl may look a little out of place. Flowers Girls are adorable no matter what they wear, but you can maintain fall color schemes for your precious little girl by using deep jewel tones with rich fabrics such as velvet and satin.

Magical Wedding at The Henry Ford Estate Mansion
Kate and Sean were married on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at the magnificent Henry Ford Estate Mansion in Dearborn, Michigan. This was truly a magical wedding, and Kate and Sean are a beautiful couple. Dream Wedding and Event Planners planned and coordinated the entire event including securing a tent at the last minute in the afternoon to cover the outdoor patio so they could still get married outside in spite of the rain.

Fantasy Wedding at Meadowbrook Mansion
Dream Wedding and Event Planners planned and coordinated this Fantasy Wedding at Meadowbrook Mansion on Saturday, July 24, 2010 for Jacqueline and Eric. In the picture above, the bride is entering through dreamy fog as she exits the Mansion for their Special Moment. Jacqueline's dress is an original design created by International Designer, Katerina Bocci. Her makeup was created by Amanie, personal makeup artist to television, music and movie celebrities. The pictures were captured by International photographers Prem and Cheridy Mukherjee of Arising Images, and the men's tuxedos were from the Perry Ellis Rio collection and flown in from Sarno and Sons in Pennsylvania. Video was filmed by celebrity cinematographer Mark Salloum of VideoMagic Productions, and special effects/decor were provided by Todd Hardiek of Colonial Party and Event Rental. A beautiful ballerina danced down the aisle in lieu of a flower girl, beautiful crystal chandeliers in the outdoor tent glittered throughout the evening, and their wedding celebration was enjoyed by all.

Unique Wedding in Ann Arbor, Michigan with Hot Air Balloon Rides
We planned and coordinated an amazing wedding reception on June 26, 2010. It took place on the grounds of Gabriel Richard High School, and was a tented event for 200 guests. The caterer, Epoch Events, had the most amazing food and service available. The guests loved the Cuban Cigar Roller we brought in, the Shutter Booth, and the tethered hot air balloon rides that were provided by Scott Lorenz of Westwind Company. The weather cooperated, and this event was amazing. The Bride and Groom raved about how everything was perfect and their guests were having a wonderful time. I love to be creative with my events, and this one will be remembered by everyone.
