Fantasy Wedding at Meadowbrook Mansion
Dream Wedding and Event Planners planned and coordinated this Fantasy Wedding at Meadowbrook Mansion on Saturday, July 24, 2010 for Jacqueline and Eric. In the picture above, the bride is entering through dreamy fog as she exits the Mansion for their Special Moment. Jacqueline's dress is an original design created by International Designer, Katerina Bocci. Her makeup was created by Amanie, personal makeup artist to television, music and movie celebrities. The pictures were captured by International photographers Prem and Cheridy Mukherjee of Arising Images, and the men's tuxedos were from the Perry Ellis Rio collection and flown in from Sarno and Sons in Pennsylvania. Video was filmed by celebrity cinematographer Mark Salloum of VideoMagic Productions, and special effects/decor were provided by Todd Hardiek of Colonial Party and Event Rental. A beautiful ballerina danced down the aisle in lieu of a flower girl, beautiful crystal chandeliers in the outdoor tent glittered throughout the evening, and their wedding celebration was enjoyed by all.

Couture Wedding Gown Disaster saved by Katerina Bocci

Dream Wedding and Event Planners was hired to plan and coordinate a large outdoor tented wedding on July 25, 2009. The Bride and Groom live in New York, had their New York wedding and reception earlier, then flew to Michigan for their Michigan Reception. The day before their event, they took her couture bridal gown to a cleaners for a light cleaning. When they picked it up, they learned the cleaners has completely ruined her gown. It looked like it had been thrown in a washing machine, ironed by hand with a flat iron and scorched. The bride and her sister called me in a panic at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with the Reception occurring the next day. I sent them to Katerina Bocci, a couture bridal gown designer located in Shelby Township, Michigan. She immediately canceled all of her appointments that evening, called in her two designers, and completely remade the exact gown by 2:00 a.m. with some differences because of designer patents. When the bride came to her shop the next morning, Katerina had soft music, a glass of wine and a masseuse there to relax her before the pre-reception pictures were to begin at 3:00 p.m. Katerina Bocci goes above and beyond excellence for her brides. Katerina told me, "I simply cannot have a bride in tears."

Creme de la Creme

I attended the Creme de la Creme fashion event on May 22, 2009 at the Detroit Athletic Club. Alexis Williamson, owner and founder of LeSalon Bridal Salon in Royal Oak, premiered the "Carrie Gown" by Vivienne Westwood as seen in the "Sex and the City" movie. The Fashion Show designs by Katerina Bocci, Cynthia La Maide and Kate Bennett graced the runway. Jon Jordan, local Channel Four Fashion Editor, was the MC for the evening. Le Salon will sponsor a yearly event featuring her couture wedding gowns and other fashion attire.
